We currently host several ½ day and full day meet up groups that focus on a particular theme or style. Our past “shootouts” have covered the following topics:

THE 360 PHOTO METHOD

This 3 hour per week, 12 week course highlights the 360 Portrait method of photography. Based on the curriculum Thomas used when going through photography school, this is a soup to nuts series that teaches everything you need to know to take your photography to the next level. Topics covered are gear, exposure, composition, posing men, posing women, lighting setups (we spend four weeks on studio lighting!!!), Photoshop editing and photo manipulation. Total investment: $45 per week for 12 weeks – $540

ME, MY KID, MY CAMERA

This four hour course is offered once a month at the studio and covers everything a mom needs to know to snap photos of kiddos in action! With a digital camera, it’s never been easier to document the important moments in your child’s life. Let us help you take better shots. We cover topics such as exposure, lighting, posing and composition.

PHOTO SUMMER CAMP

Does your child love photography? Do they want to learn to take better photos? We offer a 5 day “Photo Camp” during the summer. Classes are organized into 60-75 minute sessions, one session per day for five days. Each session is approximately 30-35 minutes of lecture, 20-30 minutes of hands on work taking photos and 15-20 minutes of sharing images. The last day of class includes a visit from a professional photographer who will speak about the different types of careers in photography. Using games, hands on shooting and interactive methodology, topics covered are The Photographer’s Toolkit, Exposure, Camera Settings, Composition, Lighting and Posing.

Total Investment: $125 per child – ages 8 – 12
